Day 1

We assemble at 0900 on the first day in the department in comfortable clothes for coffee.  After introductions to the faculty we go straight to the dissection room.  

The first session includes three 40 minute, anatomy stations including Boundaries & Contents, Pelvic Sidewall and Myofascial Supports. The session is concludes with a clinical seminar on "Myofascial Supports, Defects & Injuries" describing vaginal, levator, uterosacral and neurological injuries (V1).

After lunch we discuss your clinical presentations and cases followed by the Gynecare Guest Lecture by a distinguished guest speaker (V2).

After tea we return to one of he dissection rooms for a demonstration of the pelvic nerves and discuss  the consequences of their injury.  Endometriosis, adenomyosis and leiomyomas all possess related neurological abnormalities (see E-book on Course Materials).  

Cocktails start at 1800 at The Berkeley Square Hotel.  Gynecare (UK) host the course dinner.

Day 2
The second day starts with three further anatomy stations discussing Perineum and Pudendal nerve, Posterior Compartment and The Lower Urinary Tract.  The second session includes discussions and demonstrations of the anatomy of all the newer tape procedures including TVT, TVT-O, TVT-Secure, IVS, Prolift, etc and their relative merits.   The final session includes a review of all the specimens in the department before finishing at 1600 (V3).

A typical timetable is in the course pack.  The course qualifies for 10 hours of CPD in many programmes.
